About 15 years ago I tried hard to sell a book like this on Canadian dinosaurs, but at that time publishers did not see the potential, so I turned to other projects. When this book became possible, it was very exciting to catch up on new developments all across the country. I did many interviews, explored the technical and historical literature, and travelled to see unfamiliar sites and meet new people. So here, for the first time, is a detailed account of the discovery and significance of Canadian dinosaurs to Canadians.
